Sussex Police Recover Stolen Tools

Mid Sussex Detectives have recovered over £10,000 worth of good quality, professional workers tools as a result of search warrants executed in Crawley.

The recovered items whose owners have not yet been identified have been listed on the Virtual Bumblebee website run by Coraider Services in the hope that they will be identified by their owners.

The tools that Sussex Police are trying to return can be found on the Virtual Bumblebee portal on their website here.

The national system is on www.virtualbumblebee.co.uk.

If you recognise anything that you believe is yours, you can make a claim on-line, or contact the police directly. Items that remain unclaimed are then listed on the Bumblebee Auctions website, where anyone can view them and purchase them by placing an on-line bid. Police are keen to hear from victims of branded tool thefts, in the hope that the rightful owners can be reunited with the power tools that have been recovered.

If anyone is offered tools for sale, or has any information, they should contact police on 0845 60 70 999 quoting Operation Kipper or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
