Life Long Learning

The software industry is incredibly fast moving and it takes a special level of commitment and investment to maintain up to date skills.

Even after 25 years in the industry Paul Fright, the Technical Director of Coraider Services, continues to lead from the front in this regard.

Coraider Services is pleased to report that he has added Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) for Microsoft .NET to his qualifications.

The .Net MCSD is the top-level certification for advanced developers who design and develop leading-edge enterprise solutions, using Microsoft development tools and technologies as well as the .NET Framework. There are well under 10,000 .Net MCSDs available to service the entire world.

After graduating with a Computer Science Degree at Aberystwth University, Paul went on to become a systems programmer on Digital PDP 11's and VAX equipment, progressing to PC networking with Novell and NT, before joining Coraider Services.

Paul's first job after graduating was with a merchant bank. It is an amazing measure of the progress that there has been since then that the Pocket PC which he carries round with him in 2004 has more processing power and more memory than the bank could afford to buy to run its entire business in those days.
